Depart for a mere 2.5 hour drive from your hotel and head north through the
fertile valley across the waters of the Hartebeespoort Dam and on to the
Pilansberg National Park, the 4th largest game reserve in South Africa
(55,000 hectares). The reserve us unique because it is the result of one of the
biggest game translocations since Noah’s Ark.
Experience live game such as lions, black and white rhino, elephants, buffalo and leopard (Africa’s Big 5). There are also giraffes, zebras, hippos and crocodiles. Bird watching is excellent, with almost 360 species recorded.
