Itinerary:
 

Day 1:
Your tour starts at Johannesburg International Airport where you will be met by your Time Out In Africa representative. We transport you to your Sandton Hotel for overnight. Rest of the day to leisure, to shop at Sandton City Mall. Bed and Breakfast Protea Balalakai Hotel.

Day 2:
We depart for Lesedi Cultural Village where we discover the diverse cultural wealth of the Pedi, Zulu, Ndebele, Xhosa and Basotho tribes. Excite your taste buds as you partake of the Nyama Choma feast of traditional foods such as tasty crocodile, wild venison, ostrich, and traditional South African delicacies. After lunch depart for Sun City South Africa's own Las Vegas. Overnight at Bed and Breakfast Cabana Hotel Sun Sity.

Day 3:
Your journey eastward will take you across the rolling Highveld towards the majestic east Drakensburg Mountains. Drive through the well known trout fishing towns of Belfast, Dullstroom and Lydenberg to begin the climb over the famous Long Toms Pass amongst the finest scenery in the country. From over 2000 meters the road winds down through cool forests of pine and Eucalyptus trees to the town of Sabie. Continue onto the picturesque old mining village Pilgrim's Rest. After lunch a scenic drive along the panorama route stopping at the Pinnacle, God's Window and the Blyde river Canyon. Overnight, Dinner Bed and Breakfast Protea Hotel Kruger.

Day 4:
A leisurely breakfast and then enter the Kruger National Park to start your Safari. The excitement begins with camera at the ready, hoping to find Lion and other species, such as giraffe, elephant. rhino, zebra and antelope. After lunch spend the afternoon on an exciting game drive looking for elephant, giraffe and antelope along Sabie River. Before sunset arrive at a popular rest camp in the late afternoon as the sun sets sip a sundowner while anticipating your spotlight night drive in an open vehicle conducted by a park ranger. Day 5:
Time for a last early morning game drive and then breakfast (or visa versa) before resuming our transfer to International Airport for our flight to Cape Town. Arrive in Cape Town where you are met by your Time Out In Africa Representative and transferred to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and the Protea Hotel Victorian Junction Bed and Breakfast. Late afternoon time is spent wondering around the waterfront where you can have dinner of your choice at one of the numerous restaurants.

Day 6:
An early start to visit the famous Table Mountain (weather permitting). Afterwards we depart for a full day tour of the Cape Point via Camps Bay, Hout bay, Chapman's Peak and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve to see where the two oceans meet. After lunch we depart the reserve via False Bay coast to Groot Constantia Rhodes Memorial for overnight Bed and Breakfast Protea Hotel Victoria Junction.

Day 7:
Depart via the scenic Sir Lowry's Pass and the apple orchards of Grabouw to the historic town Swellendam. Continue via the Tradouw and Huis Rivier Passes through the folded sandstone mountain range. Experience the semi-desert areas of the Klein Karoo and visit the towns of Barrydale and Calitzdorp before arriving in the “ostrich capital” Oudtshoorn. Dinner, Bed and Breakfast Protea Hotel Riempie Estate.

Day 8:
Early Departure for a visit to the Cango caves one of the worlds most colourful limestone formations, continue onto the crocodile farm and a guided tour at one of the Ostrich show farms in the area for lunch. Travel late afternoon over the Outeniqua Pass to George for overnight Dinner Bed and Breakfast Protea Hotel King George.

Day 9:
We depart the hotel for George railway Station where we board the Outeniqua Choo Tjoe for a scenic train trip to Knysna. On arrival board a ferry which takes you to the Featherbed Nature reserve and enjoy a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head and a leisurely walk back through the milkwood forest for lunch. After lunch Cruise back to Knysna for overnight Bed and Breakfast Protea Hotel Knysna Quays

Day 10:
Our journey eastwards continues after breakfast, through the Tsitsikamma forest and across the dramatic river gorges to Port Elizabeth one of South Africa's major ports for overnight, a farewell dinner tonight at the hotel. Dinner Bed and Breakfast Protea Hotel Marine.

Day 11:
After breakfast transfer and a short orientation tour of Port Elizabeth we continue on to the airport for the flight to Johannesburg International Airport to connect with your flight homeward bound.
